My first song choice was 22 by lily Allen, the song is about a mid thirty year old woman who is now upset with her life due to that she is old. Looking back now of when she was 22 many of her dreams now are unfilled and is now waiting for the ‘man of her dreams comes along picks her and put her over his shoulder,’ she is now in the realization stage of that this is unlikely to happen. First the genre of the video would be pop but realistic crosscutting between Lily Allen (the singer) and the woman in her life that she is singing about. The setting for the singer would be a park bench using close up shots of her to show expressions and hand gestures when singing the song. Examples of this would be ‘nothing to do, nothing to say’ bored expression head leaning in arm looking to the sky. The ‘O.Ver’ lyric I thought of using a pair of hands to make and O and then the sane hands to make a V, showing a sarcastic and child like feel. The use of cross cutting to the woman in her life at the moment e.g. working in a day to day super market, ‘Out ever night’ woman lifts leg up on man. ‘Brings her to tears’ crying when working. Choruses mainly based on lily and woman whilst verses mainly based on woman like Lily is telling a story. This song has a slow pace beat and would work well with the video due to that it uses a lot of imagery, which would be effective to film. I also think many people would be able to relate to this song as well due to relating to the feeling of regrets. Also we could use a comedy aspect in the film of using a knight in shining armour comes along and picks up a woman first she’s happy, then second from a different angle she’s unhappy (older).

But I do not think that I can use this song choice due to that over the time period of thinking of theses song ideas, this song was actuary released with a video which make me unable to carry on with this idea.
